In 2012 P&G sponsored the London Olympic games and ran a campaign with Vicks Vapodrops to cheer on your team with a clear throat.  To support the campaign P&G Australia wanted to increase the exposure and shelf space for Vapodrops in Independent Petrol and Convenience outlets

Key Challenges

  • Mann & Noble were tasked with identify as many independent P&C outlets across Australia as possible
  • The M&N sales team were tasked with cold calling and selling in a counter display of Vapodrops and taking follow up orders
  • The project lasted 6 weeks

Key Successes Stories

  • M&N sourced a list of all independent P&C retailers in Australia
  • Developed a call cycle that would deliver the biggest returns with the lease travel time
  • Achieved a 60% sell in ratio from cold calls over the stores identified
  • Exceded the KPIs set by P&G
