About Wagen

Started as a family owned company back in 1995 Robert Wagner started to build hand for local businesses in Sydney.  His business grew and he moved into providing luggage trolleys and maids carts for hotels and other guest services industries as well as a wide range of hand trolleys in a recognisable Wagen Blue.

Key Challenges

  • Revive the Wagen Brand name
  • Invest in stock to allow for delivery within 1-3 days versus 1-3 months
  • Increase the sales force
  • Reengage with national hotel chains
  • Expand the product range
  • Improve the recent quality issues
  • Deliver an online platform explaining the trolleys we make an online purchase facility

Key Successes Stories

  • Wagen has seen a considerable shift in its market presence since being acquired by M&N, and following the investment in sales representatives it is once again a National company able to meet the needs of National and multinational clients
  • We have invested  in a design team and have created CAD diagrams of all our trolleys allowing both best in class quality and consistency of manufacturing, allowing Wagen to spread large orders over multiple manufacturers to deliver in short time periods
  • We have invested behind our core products to allow for immediate delivery of key products rather than having to have them made to order as small owner managed companies do
  • Built an online sales portal which links seamlessly into our accounting and WMS systems to make purchasing a product easier for a customer
  • Assisted in reducing OH&S risks for more than 1000 customers who have purchased a Wagen product
